The opportunity

Lead the daily operation of Kreate Hub’s Bronx workspace community for artists, makers and creative businesses. Your priorities are to maintain high occupancy, turn inquiries and tours into memberships, retain members and keep the building running smoothly.

This is a hands-on, on-site management role combining sales, member service and building operations. You will follow up with prospects, resolve member concerns, manage collections and coordinate vendors while reporting directly to the CEO.

What you will do
  • Maintain high occupancy:
Manage inquiries, tours, follow-up, membership agreements and renewals. Anticipate vacancies and keep an accurate sales pipeline.
  • Deliver reliable member service:
Build relationships, resolve concerns professionally and apply membership, billing and building policies consistently.
  • Run daily operations:
Coordinate maintenance, vendors, supplies and move-ins/move-outs. Maintain clean, safe, functional spaces and follow security and emergency procedures.
  • Manage collections and expenses:
Track overdue balances, document payment follow-up, maintain accurate records and control spending within approved budgets.
  • Strengthen the community:
Coordinate approved events, local partnerships and outreach that support member engagement and attract prospective members.
  • Keep work on track:
Set priorities for assigned staff and contractors, follow through on open issues and report weekly on occupancy, sales conversion, retention, collections and operations.
What you will bring
  • At least four years of experience in coworking or hospitality, with responsibility for daily operations and customer or member service.
  • Experience managing a sales or renewal process, with concrete examples of improving occupancy, revenue or retention.
  • Practical experience coordinating vendors, resolving service issues and managing multiple priorities independently.
  • Clear written and verbal communication, accurate recordkeeping and sound judgment when enforcing policies or escalating problems.
  • Comfort using CRM, property-management or comparable business systems.

Experience with creative communities, studio leasing or event programming is a plus.
