Responsibilities:

Prepare and negotiate leases, lease amendments and other related documents (including broker agreements, SNDAs, memorandums of lease, REAs, and access agreements) with national, regional, and local tenants
Coordinate on lease transactions with Leasing, Construction, Property Management and Accounting
Provide assistance to VP & Associate General Counsel - Leasing on components of anchor and junior anchor lease deals
Review and provide comments on other legal documents

Technical

Skills:

J.D. and admitted to practice in NY
5+years of experience as an attorney in the shopping center and/or retail industry
Proficient in negotiating leases with national, regional, and local tenants
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Pro

The expected salary for this position is between $160,000 and $210,000. The actual compensation will be based on factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, market and business considerations and other factors permitted by law.
