Salary Range: $17.00 To $18.00 Hourly
NM Residential is seeking an experienced Leasing Consultant to join our amazing team at Summer House at Lake Apopka.
The Leasing Consultant is responsible for apartment rentals, move-ins, and lease renewals while achieving maximum occupancy. This position operates within and contributes to an environment that complies with Fair Housing laws and Equal Employment Opportunity standards.
Key Responsibilities- Market vacant units and renew occupied units
- Conduct market surveys to analyze competitors
- Track telephone and office traffic
- Conduct property tours demonstrating the property's amenities
- Follow up with potential and renewing residents until leases are closed
- Conduct credit checks and income verifications while maintaining confidentiality
- Draft leases for new and renewing residents
- Inspect vacant units and report repair items
- Prepare welcome packages and schedule move-ins/move-outs
- Provide exceptional customer service and promote resident retention
- Process maintenance/work orders and maintain control in emergencies
- Manage resident package check-ins
- Perform general administrative duties (filing, phones, mail, rent collection, etc.)
- Attend staff meetings and complete internal training
- Education:
High school diploma or GED - Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of apartment leasing experience

Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM, and Saturdays, 10:00 AM-5:00 PM
CompensationHourly range: $18- $19, plus commission and renewal bonus opportunities.
