Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Research Scientist I specializing in genetic engineering. The role involves conducting experiments, analyzing data, developing new protein/genetic engineering techniques, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The position is on-site and located in New York City, NY at our HQ.

What We Require - Qualifications

• Proficiency in genetic engineering techniques and molecular biology
• Experience with protein engineering and biochemical assays
• Strong data analysis and bioinformatics skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• PhD in Genetics, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field
• Experience in precision agriculture or related field is a plus
• Compensation $160-180k + equity

• Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. (citizen, permanent resident, or otherwise eligible).

The estimated salary range for this position is $160-180k + equity. Further note that total compensation for this position will be determined by each individual’s relevant qualifications, work experience, skills, and other factors. This estimate excludes the value of any benefits offered; and the potential future value of any long-term incentives.
