You will work on new models for speech recognition, speech synthesis, and natural language processing, contribute to open-source toolkit NeMo, and collaborate with research and product teams.

• Develop new deep learning models for automatic speech recognition, speech synthesis, neural machine translation, and natural language processing.
• Design large-scale training algorithms.
• Open-source models using NeMo conversational AI frameworks.
• Mentor interns.
• Publish research papers at top speech and NLP conferences.
• Collaborate with universities and research teams.

• PhD in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
• Proven understanding of deep learning for natural language processing or speech recognition.
• At least 5 years of research experience in speech recognition or NLP.
• Excellent Python programming skills.
• Experience with PyTorch.
• Strong publication record.

• Contribution to open-source projects.
• Being reviewers for top speech conferences.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and comparables. The base salary range is $160,000 - $258,750 for Level 3 and $184,000 - $299,000 for Level 4. You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
