Location:

• Build and maintain financial models
• Perform fundamental analysis and due diligence on biopharmaceutical companies
• Write investment-driven research reports
• Develop and field industry surveys
• Attend medical and scientific conferences
• Undertake a wide array of industry analyses and competitive assessments
• Interface with company management, investor conferences, key opinion leaders, institutional investor clients, and internal sales force and trading personnel

• Undergraduate degree in biology, chemical engineering, biochemistry, biomedical engineering, biotechnology, molecular biology, genetics, pharmacology or related field
• Advanced degree (MSc, PhD, MBA) required
• Minimum of two years of sellside equity research experience
• Strong attention to detail, time management, work ethic, and effective oral and written communication skills
• Independently motivated, analytically minded, and intellectually curious; some experience with financial modeling and exposure to the equity markets; interest in life sciences investing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office;
  Fact Set or Bloomberg a bonus
• Fully FINRA registered (SIE, Series 7, 63, 86, 87) preferred; CFA Charter holder a bonus

• Exceptional academic background
• Strong understanding of the investment process and ability to perform deep primary research
• Excellent quantitative and financial modeling skills; experience building and maintaining company financial models and updating industry data
• Strong writing skills; authoring equity research reports, company initiations, industry reports, and marketing presentations
• Professionalism, prioritization, and ability to meet deadlines
• Experience in biopharmaceuticals equity research, drug development, or related field preferred
