Research Associate, Research Scientist

We are seeking a Research Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will conduct independent basic science experiments in our laboratory under the mentorship of a senior scientist, aiming to build a research portfolio in biomedical research or medicine.

• Train graduate students and post-doctoral fellows in experimental techniques after gaining experience in the lab.
• Assist in editing and proofreading grant proposals, reports, and manuscripts, providing suggestions for improvement.
• Contribute to writing research articles and submitting them for publication.
• Review relevant scientific literature.
• Present research findings at lab meetings, engage in scientific discussions, and respond to challenges.
• Contribute intellectually to project design.
• Collaborate and communicate results with colleagues.
• Create figures and diagrams for presentations and publications.
• Independently modify protocols based on experimental results.
• Document findings in laboratory notebooks, analyze data, and interpret results.
• Perform multiple experiments simultaneously and independently.
• Generate hypotheses, design experiments, and test them.

Applicants must hold a B.S. or B.A. in Biomedical or Physical Sciences, with a commitment of at least two years, not exceeding three years in the position.

Effective communication skills across all organizational levels are required.

The annual salary range is $47,033.89 - $50,960.00, depending on experience, education, and institutional needs. This range does not include bonuses or additional compensation. For more information, view the Pay Transparency Notice.
