Position SummaryWe are seeking a Research Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will conduct independent basic science experiments in our laboratory under the mentorship of a senior scientist, aiming to build a research portfolio in biomedical research or medicine.
Job Responsibilities- Train graduate students and post-doctoral fellows in experimental techniques after gaining experience in the lab.
- Assist in editing and proofreading grant proposals, reports, and manuscripts, providing suggestions for improvement.
- Contribute to writing research articles and submitting them for publication.
- Review relevant scientific literature.
- Present research findings at lab meetings, engage in scientific discussions, and respond to challenges.
- Contribute intellectually to project design.
- Collaborate and communicate results with colleagues.
- Create figures and diagrams for presentations and publications.
- Independently modify protocols based on experimental results.
- Document findings in laboratory notebooks, analyze data, and interpret results.
- Perform multiple experiments simultaneously and independently.
- Generate hypotheses, design experiments, and test them.
Applicants must hold a B.S. or B.A. in Biomedical or Physical Sciences, with a commitment of at least two years, not exceeding three years in the position.
Effective communication skills across all organizational levels are required.

Salary RangeThe annual salary range is $47,033.89 - $50,960.00, depending on experience, education, and institutional needs. This range does not include bonuses or additional compensation. For more information, view the Pay Transparency Notice.
