Location: Village of Highland Falls
Postdoctoral Fellowship (Biophysics of protein aggregation)
This one-year extensively mentored fellowship is focused on protein aggregation and self-assembly studies in the context of Alzheimer’s disease and traumatic brain injury. In vitro biophysical methods, advanced imaging, and cell studies will be used to understand mechanisms of protein function and dysfunction.
The fellowship is offered under the Army Research Laboratory Research Associateship Program (ARL-RAP), which supports scientists and engineers in research areas of interest to the Army.
Requirements- Degree:
Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral Degree. - Academic Level(s):
Bachelor’s Degree (Journeyman Fellow), Master’s Degree (Journeyman Fellow), Master’s Degree 7+ years (Senior Fellow), Doctoral Degree (Postdoctoral Fellow), or Doctoral Degree 5+ years (Senior Fellow).
