Postdoctoral Associate - Kamenecka Lab

Postdoctoral positions in Medicinal Chemistry are available in the Kamenecka group in The Department of Molecular Medicine at the Scripps Research Institute, Florida campus (for more information please see: https://(Use the "Apply for this Job" box below).).

Successful candidates will have a proven track record of publishing in high impact journals and extensive experience in organic synthesis and/or medicinal chemistry, and can work successfully as a member of a team. These full-time lab positions are
available starting August 2018.

Florida

This position works in a laboratory or vivarium environment. Further details of the physical requirements of established essential functions for this position will be addressed/discussed during the interview process.

Must possess a doctoral degree. A pending doctoral degree may be considered with approval of the Principal Investigator.

Extensive Ph.D. graduate work in multi-step organic synthesis is required, with good laboratory skills and familiarity with modern synthetic techniques and instrumentation ( HPLC
-MS, HPLC , NMR , chromatography). Strong candidates may also have knowledge and experience in heterocyclic and medicinal chemistry and/or structure-based drug design. Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills necessary to thrive in a fast-paced team-oriented environment are also required.
