Role:
Participating in Genomics research as a full-time, onsite Co-op at Regeneron Genetics Center, focusing on analyzing large-scale genetic and multi-omics datasets.
Responsibilities:conduct GWAS and risk-prediction analyses integrating genetics, biomarkers, and clinical data; develop and test bioinformatics code; interpret findings collaboratively; document methods and results; contribute to research on genetic influences in diseases like cardiovascular conditions.
Requirements:enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Bioinformatics, Genetics, Data Science, or related fields; ability to commit 40 hours/week; GPA 3.0+ preferred; demonstrated leadership.
High Value:genetic and genomic data analysis, GWAS, multi-omics, clinical-outcomes integration, large-scale data support.
Work Setup:full-time, onsite Tarrytown, NY, from January to August or May/June to December.
