Bernstein Research Associate - US Biopharma and US Life Science Tools & Diagnostics

We are looking for a Research Associate to join Bernstein’s premier Equity Research teams covering Biopharma and Life Science Tools & Diagnostics in New York (e.g. Lilly, Gilead, Pfizer, Waters, Agilent, Thermo, and Natera). As a Research Associate, you will:

• Develop sector expertise working with a Senior Analyst who is a seasoned industry expert
• Become highly proficient at in-depth analysis of your companies, stocks and industry themes
• Author written research that is famous for its deep industry insights and analytical rigor
• Become adept at financial forecasting, including building detailed forward‑looking models
• Build strong relationships across the investing community, including our sales and trading teams and institutional clients
• Build a network within your industry including senior management of your companies

• Academic focus in life science (biology, biochemistry biomedical engineering, etc.); finance/business also acceptable if candidate has other demonstrated interest or experience in life science
• Experience analyzing companies in the health care sector, ideally therapeutics
