Line Cook

Line Cook – Tap Room

Upstream Hospitality Group is an ever‑growing hospitality group committed to creativity, progress, and originality. We are looking for an experienced line cook to join our Tap Room team. You will prepare and cook a variety of dishes to delight our guests.

Passionate about creating exceptional dining experiences through quality food. With previous experience as a cook, you can manage multiple priorities and foster a friendly, productive team atmosphere. Ideally, you have Serve Safe or Food Handler’s certification.

• Inspect and clean food preparation areas to ensure safe and sanitary practices.
• Maintain freshness of ingredients by checking quality, tracking stock, and rotating inventory.
• Store and cook food at correct temperatures by regulating ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters.
• Season and cook food according to recipes or personal judgment and experience.
• Turn or stir foods to ensure even cooking.
• Respond to guest feedback with appropriate urgency and professionalism.

• Previous experience as a restaurant cook (required).
• Serve Safe or Food Handler’s certification, or willingness to obtain.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to lift 30+ lbs.
• Ability to stand for 8+ hours.
• Bilingual preferred.
