This job posting is for a position in a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee and not McDonald’s USA. The franchisee is responsible for all employment matters.
Role OverviewThe General Manager is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and for ensuring the restaurant meets McDonald’s critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. The General Manager works with leadership to set the restaurant’s goals and create plans to achieve them.
Responsibilities- Lead a team of Department Managers, helping them set goals, track progress, and provide coaching and direction to improve departmental performance.
- Partner with Department Managers to set their own goals and follow up on progress.
- Hire and develop Department and Shift Managers to build a capable team.
- Lead the restaurant toward achieving financial targets, quality standards, and operational excellence.
- Previous General Manager experience running high‑volume locations.
- Background in quick‑service restaurants strongly desired, or experience in hospitality or retail.
- Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in corporate‑owned and operated restaurants.
- 15‑25 days paid vacation
