Schedule & Pay
  • Full‑time schedule:
    Monday‑Friday (hours may vary). Must be able to work every other weekend.
  • Fixed pay rate: $17.00 per hour.
Job Summary

Performs cashiering duties, including general food service work, while maintaining sanitation standards in the preparation, service and dining room facilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables; weigh and measure designated ingredients.
  • Carry pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator following safety standards.
  • Distribute supplies, utensils and portable equipment; store foods in designated areas according to wrapping, dating, and food safety and rotation procedures.
  • Clean work areas, equipment and utensils; ensure compliance with sanitation and safety requirements.
  • Use approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.
  • Serve customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service; interact with customers and resolve complaints in a service‑oriented manner.
  • Relay relevant information to supervisor; perform sales transactions, enter sales into the cash register, make change, accept declining balance cards and other payment forms, issue receipts, and follow standard procedures for issuing cash refunds.
  • Maintain all assigned change funds and cash receipts, ensuring compliance with overage/shortage standards; replenish condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining service area cleanliness.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
