COOK SUPERVISOR (FULL TIME)

Schedule:

Monday – Friday, full time (hours may vary; details upon interview)

Pay: $24.00 per hour

Directly supervises food‑service associates in accordance with policies, procedures, and applicable laws.

• Trains employees; plans, assigns and directs work; appraises performance; rewards and disciplines associates; addresses complaints and resolves problems.
• Advises management on purchasing requirements to minimize waste and avoid product shortages.
• Uses approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and portion control.
• Operates and cleans equipment in accordance with department procedures after each use.
• Stores, labels, and dates food items according to policy; maintains established food rotations to minimize spoilage and waste.
• Follows HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply.
• Operates food‑service equipment safely and according to established policies and procedures.
• Assists serving meals; remains present during scheduled meal periods to receive customer comments and feedback.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Safety and sanitation knowledge;
  Serv Safe certification required.
• Hospitality experience with knife skills.
• Ability to oversee a team of cooks.

• Use medium‑weight cut gloves when handling knives, peelers, choppers, mandolins, or cleaning slicers.
• Use oven, fryer, or steamer gloves when handling hot pans from ovens, warmers, or steam tables.
• Use slip‑resistant shoes; apply proper lifting techniques.
