We are excited to announce a premier Executive Chef opportunity at The Rhyland Hotel
, opening in the heart of Flushing, NY, in summer 2025. Located in one of the most culturally rich culinary hubs in the country, The Rhyland will feature modern American cuisine elevated with Asian‑fusion influences, celebrating both New York's local bounty and the vibrant flavors of the surrounding community.

About Our Culinary Venues
  • Two Signature Restaurants:
    Each with its own concept, blending seasonal, locally sourced ingredients with Asian‑fusion flavors and modern techniques.
  • Banquet Hall:
    Offering custom menus for events of all sizes, showcasing creative, globally influenced dishes.
  • Outdoor Terraces:
    Providing al fresco dining experiences inspired by both New York and pan‑Asian culinary traditions.
The Role

As our Executive Chef, you will define and execute the hotel's full culinary vision across all dining venues. This role is ideal for a strategic, innovative leader with a passion for modern cuisine, Asian‑fusion flavor profiles, and high‑performance kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and refine menus that highlight seasonal, local ingredients through a modern American and Asian‑fusion lens.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a talented culinary team.
  • Manage kitchen operations with a focus on consistency, efficiency, sustainability, and profitability.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with local and specialty suppliers.
  • Ensure all food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards are upheld to the highest level.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef in a high‑volume, fine‑dining environment.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor and develop staff.
  • A deep understanding of, and appreciation for, New York's culinary landscape.
  • Exceptional creativity and a passion for modern American/Asian cuisine.
  • Culinary arts degree from a reputable institution is preferred.
