The hourly wage range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00 / hour, based on applicable experience.

Job Duties
  • Oversee all bakery production for campus food service operations. Operations include All-you-care-to-eat Dining Hall, Retail Outlets, Large Volume Catering, and more.
  • Ensure quality, safety, and timeliness of all bakery items.
  • Items to be produced include cookies, cakes, pies, plated desserts, specialty desserts, pizza dough, breads, etc.
  • Supervise Night Cleaners to ensure that their work is being completed.
  • Create new and exciting desserts to renew our menus and engage the interest of our guests.
Qualifications
  • Associates Degree in Baking and Pastry Arts, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience managing large scale baking/pastry operation.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Experience ordering products and tracking inventory levels.
  • Skilled at decorating cakes.
  • Great attention to detail and creativity.
  • Organization and leadership skills.
