Location: New York

Position Summary: The Food and Beverage Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of dining operations at the private golf club, ensuring exceptional service and a high-quality culinary experience for members and guests. This role involves managing staff, maintaining standards, optimizing profitability, and creating a welcoming atmosphere in all food and beverage outlets, including the clubhouse restaurant, bar, and event spaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of all food and beverage outlets, including dining room, bar, halfway house, etc.
  • Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise food and beverage staff to deliver outstanding service
  • Develop and manage budgets and control costs
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef on menu planning, special events, and member feedback
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Monitor inventory, order supplies, and maintain vendor relationships
  • Plan and execute private events, tournaments, and club functions
  • Address member and guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally
  • Maintain a welcoming, upscale environment that reflects the Club’s standards
  • Generate reports and analyze data to improve operations and member satisfaction
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a food and beverage manager or similar leadership role
  • Experience in private clubs, hotels, or high-end restaurants preferred
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Knowledge of budgeting, cost control, and inventory management
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Serv Safe, TIPS, Food Handler’s Certificate) are a plus
