Join the U.S. Army MWR as Assistant Business Manager (Food Service) at The Peak, Fort Drum, New York. In this role you will support multiple food service facilities and help improve services, promotion activities, and revenue.

The position is part of the Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (FMWR). It may fill vacancies in the Business Recreation Division and supports Soldier readiness and family well‑being.

• Assist the Business Manager in directing operations and supervising several food service facilities.
• Conduct surveys, review activity reports, and recommend improvements to services and revenue.
• Participate in employee selection, training, and compliance with health and safety standards.
• Complete cash reports and daily deposits.

• Direct deposit and Social Security Card required.
• Meet all qualification/eligibility/background requirements.
• One‑year probationary period may be required.
• Complete an employment verification (E‑Verify) check.
• Satisfy all pre‑employment checks per Army Regulation 215‑3.
• Obtain and maintain a Food Protection Manager Certification from an ANSI‑accredited agency within six months of employment.
• Work schedule may be irregular, including nights, weekends, holidays, and special events.

• Work experience leading food service facilities and enforcing internal procedures.
• Strong interpersonal skills and clear written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Within three months, obtain a sanitation certification in food service if not already held.
• Highly preferred:
  One year of experience in a coffee house, special events venue, club, or catering.
