Job Description

The Head Chef directs the culinary team’s daily activities to ensure guest satisfaction, profitability, and a positive work environment. Reports to the Store Director and collaborates with the Area Executive Chef. Oversees the Back of House team.

  • Hire, assign, train, evaluate, and terminate employees
  • Plan and execute seasonal menus with the team
  • Coordinate with leadership and corporate to implement initiatives and plan events
  • Maintain virtual menus and monitor margins
  • Ensure food quality and standards
  • Review financials and manage inventory and procurement
  • Communicate menu updates to front of house
  • Handle incidents and perform other duties as needed

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of chef experience, including 3+ years in management
  • Strong understanding of Italian cuisine
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Knowledge of kitchen procedures, safety, and sanitation
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree or culinary training preferred

Job Requirements

  • Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Stand/walk for up to 8 hours in a restaurant environment
  • Operate commercial kitchen equipment

The annual salary range is $100,000–$110,000.
