Position:
Food Service Steward
The Steward assists in the overall operation of the dining room and kitchen areas of the facility. May supervise VIP clients.
The Schwartz Assessment ShelterA shelter for men operating 24 hours a day and seven days a week. Clients are referred to the program by the New York City Department of Homeless Services.
LocationWards Island, NY 10035
Minimum Qualifications- High School diploma or GED preferred with relevant experience.
- Certification in food handling is required or must be obtained within 2 months of hire.
