Busser – Little Ruby’s Café So Ho
Pay: $16.50/hour (before tip credit) + tips

Little Ruby’s Café SoHo is seeking a friendly, hardworking Busser to join our front‑of‑house team. If you’re passionate about hospitality and thrive in a fast‑paced environment, this is a great opportunity to grow with a vibrant and beloved NYC café.

• Assist servers by supporting smooth and efficient guest service throughout the dining room.
• Clear, clean, and reset tables quickly and professionally.
• Deliver and refill water promptly, either upon guest request or as directed by servers.
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, chairs, banquettes, and service stations during and after service.
• Set tables with proper place settings and ensure stations are fully stocked.
• Support the team by communicating guest needs to servers, chefs, and managers.
• Participate in table marking and course service when needed.
• Perform opening and closing side work including setup and breakdown of the dining room.
• Uphold Department of Health and company sanitation standards at all times.
• Report any broken equipment or damage to management immediately.

• Previous experience as a busser or in a similar front‑of‑house role preferred.
• Experience working in a high‑volume restaurant, café, lounge, or nightlife venue is a plus.
• A Food Handler’s Certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
• Ability to stay calm and focused in a busy, ever‑changing environment.
• Must be able to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
• Must be comfortable performing repetitive tasks and working near cleaning supplies or kitchen elements.
• Flexible schedule including availability for days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• A positive attitude, professional demeanor, and strong sense of teamwork.
