Base pay range

$20.00/hr – $22.00/hr

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for baking all cookies, scones, and muffins for both locations.
  • Follow baking instructions and adjust baking times accordingly.
  • Work off inventory and par sheets for two locations to bake correct amounts for each store.
  • Properly finish, date, and package all items in time to be sent by 8am.
  • Prioritize and finish all tasks assigned for daily baking, working independently when supervisors are not immediately available.
  • Inform supervisors when any equipment is not working properly and anticipate when food supplies or prepped items are getting low.
  • Keep a clean workstation and assist in soft cleaning of the kitchen.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned based on evolving business needs.
  • Maintain the kitchen production process to keep the workplace safe and hygienic for all employees.
  • Scale all recipes and follow procedures.
Skills
  • Detail oriented, passionate about high quality, able to work in a fast‑paced environment and multi‑task.
  • Ability to problem‑solve and clearly communicate.
  • Quick learner and ability to follow recipes and baking instructions strictly.
  • NYC Food Handler’s Certificate preferred for food sanitary safety practice/procedure knowledge.
  • Relevant prior experience as a baker is required.
  • Capable of working in a fast‑paced, production environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED certificate is a plus.
  • Completion of a Culinary School program or apprenticeship preferred.
  • 1–2 years of pastry‑making relevant experience.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Able to lift 50lbs.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Excellent time‑management skills.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, especially during the holidays.
  • Maintain a clean environment and keep the area organized and free of clutter.
  • Thoroughly follow company procedures according to health and safety standards.
  • Adhere to all food safety regulations and procedures.
