We are a high‑end kosher sushi restaurant in Brooklyn, known for quality and exceptional dining experiences. We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to lead our dining room operations, ensuring top‑night service and seamless customer experiences.

Position Overview

As Floor Manager and Head Server, you will take on a dual role, acting as both the lead server and floor manager, driving sales and enhancing guest satisfaction. You will manage the dining room, oversee the service team, and maintain the highest standards in a fast‑paced environment. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in our team, offering high‑quality service while providing guests with memorable dining experiences.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and coordinate dining room operations during shifts, ensuring all guests receive prompt and attentive service.
  • Lead by example as the head server, demonstrating excellent service skills, upselling techniques, and knowledge of our kosher menu.
  • Train, mentor, and support the service staff to maintain our high standards.
  • Maintain strong attention to detail, from table settings to overall ambiance.
  • Resolve guest concerns professionally and efficiently.
  • Manage and coordinate reservations and table assignments.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service and communicate customer preferences or special requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with kosher dining standards and health/safety regulations.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3+ years of serving and floor management experience in high‑end or fast‑paced restaurant environments.
  • Strong knowledge of sales techniques and guest service standards.
  • Ability to work late nights and weekends with flexible scheduling.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing dining rooms and service teams.
  • Attention to detail, ability to multitask, and problem‑solving skills.
