Mercer Street Hospitality is hiring an AM or PM Dishwasher/Porter to join the opening team for an exciting new seafood concept at the W Union Square Hotel!
Duties and Responsibilities Essential Duties- Washing all dishes and cooking equipment in a timely manner during and between restaurant services
- Clean cooking stations and equipment to help expedite service
- Clean and maintain FOH areas and curbside if requested by the supervisor
- Keep open communication with the BOH team and FOH team
- Maintain cleanliness of any BOH work areas, including but not limited to refrigeration, cooking equipment, and prep areas.
- Participate in deep cleaning of BOH work areas, including but not limited to refrigeration, cooking equipment, and prep areas
- Assist in other BOH areas as needed, including but not limited to basic food preparation.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and high-energy environment
- Must possess thoroughness and time management skills
- Able to take constructive criticism, learn quickly, and constantly improve
- Related experience preferred
