ONT Field Dishwasher

Position Summary

ONT Field, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Dishwasher position. The role involves maintaining kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in a clean and orderly condition.

• Maintain a sanitary and safe work environment.
• Keep floors and walls clean and dry at all times, including sweeping and mopping.
• Scrape food from dirty dishes and wash them by hand or place them in racks or on the conveyor to a dishwashing machine.
• Wash pots, pans, trays, worktables, walls, ranges, refrigerators, and meat blocks.
• Segregate and remove trash and garbage, placing it in designated containers.
• Hose out or steam‑clean garbage cans.
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Set up, maintain, and operate dishwashing stations at events.
• Keep all china, glass, and silver in place and in order.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

• Experience in a food and beverage setting required.

Valid Food Handlers Card Required. The company will cover the cost of the training and compensate employees for the time spent completing the course. Certification must be obtained within 30 days of the hire date.

• Basic food‑service health codes and sanitation standards.
• Follow directions in both verbal and written form.
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

• Provide two‑way communication and nurture an ownership environment with emphasis on positive motivation and teamwork.
• Work with minimal supervision.
• Interact with all levels of customers and staff, including management.
• Work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, in addition to normal business hours.

This position requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting 50 lbs throughout the day, standing for long hours during events, working at the computer, and handling hazardous chemicals/substances. The role may require work inside or outside the building, as needed by events, and a background check is required.
