** Position Summary
** A Hawker is responsible for preparing, handling, and selling food or beverages in a fast-paced, high-volume environment such as markets, festivals, food stands, or outdoor venues. This role requires strong customer service skills, efficiency, and strict adherence to food safety standards.###
** Key Responsibilities
*** Prepare and serve food and beverages according to established recipes and standards
* Set up, operate, and break down food stalls, carts, or booths
* Engage with customers in a friendly, energetic manner to drive sales
* Handle cash, POS systems, and mobile payments accurately
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation at all times
* Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs
* Follow all local health, safety, and sanitation regulations
* Upsell menu items and promote specials or featured products
* Work efficiently under high-volume conditions, especially during peak service times###
** Qualifications
* ** Previous food service, street food, or concession experience preferred
* Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions
* Comfortable standing for long periods and lifting up to 25–50 lbs
* Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays###
