Director of Dining Services

Join our growing skilled nursing team as a Food Service Director
! We are seeking an experienced, organized leader to oversee daily dietary operations while ensuring residents receive high-quality meals and exceptional service.

• Oversee daily food service and dietary department operations

• Supervise, schedule, train, and support dietary staff

• Ensure meals meet resident needs, preferences, therapeutic diets, and prescribed consistencies

• Maintain compliance with CMS, state, sanitation, and food safety requirements

• Manage food ordering, inventory, supplies, and department costs

• Monitor kitchen cleanliness, food storage, temperatures, and sanitation practices

• Collaborate with Nursing, Administration, and the interdisciplinary team

• Assist with survey readiness and corrective action as needed

• Minimum 1 year of food service leadership experience in a skilled nursing or long‑term care setting required

• Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification REQUIRED
• Serv Safe certification preferred
• Knowledge of therapeutic diets, sanitation, and healthcare food service regulations
• Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
• Ability to manage staffing, schedules, inventory, and department priorities
