Position Overview The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day store operations across all Lola Saratoga retail locations. This individual leads a high-performing team and collaborates closely with store management and the Director of Merchandising to drive performance, ensure operational excellence, and uphold brand standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and brings a passion for executing retail strategy in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities PerformanceDrive operational success by managing total store operations including sales floor execution, merchandising, and store readiness
Partner with the Director of Merchandising to align operational workflows with product strategy and customer experience goals
Collaborate with store managers to ensure cohesive brand messaging and consistent execution across locations
Monitor KPIs including sales targets, shrink, staffing efficiency, and customer satisfaction metrics
Execute seasonal transitions, promotional events, and high-volume periods with clear planning and team coordination
Manage inter-store transfers and inventory availability with precision and urgency
Analyze operational reports and audit results to identify and implement process improvements
PeopleLead, coach, and develop a team of 8–10 store associates and managers across locations
Cultivate a collaborative team culture rooted in accountability, professionalism, and hospitality
Ensure all team members are trained on operational procedures, product knowledge, and brand standards
Support hiring, onboarding, and performance development in partnership with HR and store leadership
Provide ongoing coaching, conduct performance reviews, and create development plans for team members
Partner with store managers to maintain adequate staffing levels and adapt scheduling to seasonal traffic
Process & ComplianceImplement and manage store-level operational policies, procedures, and tools—including loss prevention protocols, opening/closing standards, and customer service processes
Lead the development, rollout, and continuous improvement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency, efficiency, and compliance across all locations
Ensure SOPs are well-documented, communicated, and adopted by store teams through effective training and accountability measures
Oversee inventory control tasks including supply ordering, inventory adjustments, damages, and transfers
Ensure compliance with cash handling procedures, store safety standards, and loss prevention strategies
Use task management and communication tools to drive execution of merchandising sets, price changes, and operational checklists
Maintain clean, organized, and brand-appropriate retail environments across locations
Brand & CultureMirror and reflect the Lola Saratoga brand aesthetic and service values in all operational decisions
Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring all team members consistently deliver a luxury-level customer experience
Ensure product presentation, store layouts, and staff behavior align with the elevated expectations of a designer retail client base
Stay informed on trends in luxury resale and designer fashion to support business relevance and customer engagement
Qualifications3–5 years of experience in multi-unit retail operations or store management; luxury or fashion retail preferred
Proven ability to lead and develop teams, manage inventory, and execute operational initiatives
Skilled in reading sales and inventory reports and translating data into actionable strategies
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in high-volume, fast-paced environments
Familiarity with POS systems, scheduling platforms, and task management tools
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Enthusiastic about designer goods with an appreciation for luxury craftsmanship and customer expectations
