About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Planner with a strong focus on Walmart accounts. The ideal candidate will manage inventory flow, optimize stock levels, and ensure products are available at the right time to meet demand, all while minimizing excess inventory. This role requires a blend of analytical skills, retail knowledge, and excellent communication with both internal teams and external partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own inventory planning and replenishment for Walmart, Target, Sam’s Club, and other accounts.
  • Develop and maintain inventory forecasts based on sales trends, promotions, and seasonal demand.
  • Monitor stock levels, identify potential stock outs or overstock situations, and take proactive action.
  • Collaborate with sales, operations, and supply chain teams to align on inventory strategy.
  • Analyze sales data, performance metrics, and supply chain constraints to optimize inventory flow.
  • Ensure compliance with Walmart’s inventory and shipment requirements.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations on inventory health, projections, and recommendations.
  • Prepare and submit quote sheets / Data Sync forms for item submissions.
  • Monitor and watch customer purchase orders, ensuring they are received, processed, and shipped in a timely manner. Communicate with the warehouse to resolve any miscommunication on purchase orders from customers.
Qualifications:
  • 4–6+ years of inventory planning, demand planning, or supply chain experience, preferably with Walmart or major retail accounts.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with inventory management systems.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Excel and other analytical tools; experience with ERP systems a plus.
