Retail Sales Specialist

Base Pay Range: $18.00/hr – $31.75/hr (depending on skills and experience).

This Retail Sales Specialist will represent Spectrum at the store, promoting and selling our Spectrum Internet®, TV, Mobile, and Voice products to both existing and new customers. You will enhance the customer experience, support sales, and maintain an inviting, clean store environment.

Applicants must be able to work lawfully in the U.S. without employment-based immigration sponsorship now or in the future.

• Enhance the customer experience while meeting sales, service, and operational goals.
• Identify sales opportunities and create ideal customer experiences through product support and education.
• Build positive customer relationships, practice effective listening, and overcome objections while delivering the value of our products.
• Maintain knowledge of Spectrum products, pricing, promotions, and visual standards, while minimizing product losses.
• Ensure a welcoming store atmosphere, deliver a clean retail experience, communicate effectively, adhere to policy, resolve issues, and participate in training programs.

• Require a flexible schedule, regular attendance, and physical demands such as lifting up to 35 lbs. and prolonged standing in a moderately noisy retail environment.
• Adherence to Spectrum’s dress code.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Proficiency in cash handling and accurate payment transactions.
• High comfort level with personal technology, including mobile devices and video platforms, and proficiency in computer applications.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English and to prioritize, organize, manage multiple tasks, and handle change effectively.
• Familiarity with goal- and incentive-based work environments.
• Strong performance in a fast-paced team environment.
• Effective communication with employees and customers in person, on the phone and in writing.
• Highly effective interpersonal skills for building partnerships across the organization.
• Self‑motivated, competitive spirit with a desire to exceed sales goals.

• Knowledge of the latest technology and devices.
• 1–5 years of sales/customer service experience.
• 1–3 years of telecommunications/wireless experience.

Base pay ranges from $18.00 to $31.75 per hour, with a commission earnings target starting at $11,232. Additional incentives and bonus opportunities may apply.
