About the Role
Retail Merchandising Specialist is a part‑time position that offers weekly pay, paid training, diverse assignments, and opportunities to work independently with renowned consumer electronics brands.
What You'll Do- Travel to assigned retail stores within your territory.
- Audit, maintain, and install consumer electronics displays and products such as TVs, tablets, headphones, speakers, printers, and phones.
- Partner with team members on 2–3 person projects such as appliance or TV installs.
- Build and maintain positive in‑store relationships.
- Complete assignments assigned by your BDS Manager.
- Ensure timely reporting from your personal mobile device.
- Schedule and complete work per BDS Standards and Expectations.
- Receive materials at home or pick them up at Fed Ex and deliver to retail locations as requested.
- Perform additional tasks as requested by management.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Previous merchandising, customer service, and/or retail experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills.
- Proficiency using a personal Android or Apple device with GPS functionality.
- Ownership of a basic toolkit (reimbursement after probationary period).
- Completion of paid BDS online training courses before working in‑store.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship, 18 years or older.
- Compliance with all pre‑employment requirements, including background check and MVR check.
- Flexible availability Monday–Friday early morning to midday, with occasional weekend hours.
- Minimum of 20 hours per week.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance for company‑mandated driving.
- Travel within a 60‑mile radius of the designated market (company pays drive time and mileage).
- Regularly stand, walk, bend, reach overhead, crouch, kneel, balance, grasp, push or pull, talk and/or hear, and drive.
- Regularly lift and carry 40+ pounds.
- Climb a ladder more than 10 feet tall.
- Complete and pass certification for moving equipment (e.g., big Joe/little Joey and forklifts) as required.
