This role is part of General Merchandise, responsible for inbound, replenishment, inventory accuracy, presentation, pricing, and signing processes to ensure product availability and a consistent guest experience on the sales floor. The team supports inbound, outbound, and fulfillment operations, including pick, pack, and ship activities.

• Execute a detailed, accurate and efficient sorting operation.
• Stock, organize and store reserve product and straighten merchandise on the sales floor.
• Maintain product availability on the sales floor for General Merchandise (GM) categories.
• Operate powered equipment as necessary while unloading freight or moving merchandise.
• Process defective merchandise and handle environmentally sensitive items in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance.
• Work in a safe manner at all times; comply with safety policies, best practices, and training; report hazards and correct where possible.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pickup (OPU) and Drive Up (DU) while maintaining compliance with applicable laws (e.g., adult beverage laws).
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and assisting with their needs.
• Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs and thank them for shopping at Target.

• Accurately handle cash register operations as needed.
• Climb ladders as required.
• Scan, move and handle merchandise safely, including lifting up to 44 pounds.
• Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays) with reliable attendance.
• Work in varying temperatures and conditions in roles such as Drive-Up and carryout.
• Must be able to remain mobile for the duration of a shift.
