Job Overview

The Senior Manager, Replenishment oversees inventory management, optimizing allocation and replenishment to ensure timely delivery of the correct products to each store at the SKU level. Utilizing rigorous analytics, the Senior Manager derives insights that serve as the central point of information for inventory-related queries. Proactively maximizing inventory productivity across channels and locations is a key responsibility. The Senior Manager provides strategic direction during both pre‑season planning and in‑season management processes.

You Will Do
  • Supervise the daily implementation of replenishment and allocation strategies for stores.
  • Offer guidance on inventory strategies, such as hold & flow and multiple shipments, to align with the broader Category Strategy.
  • Utilize analytical tools to boost sales, optimize inventory turnover, and reduce markdowns.
  • Collaborate closely with Merchandise Planning, Assortment Planners, and Buyers to gather essential inputs for demand forecasting and inventory optimization.
  • Provide strategic direction during Merchandise Financial Planning, addressing channel receipt plans, network strategy, capacity constraints, and throughput.
  • Share flow recommendations with Assortment Planners during the pre‑season.
  • Create replenishment purchase orders, conduct in‑season replenishment forecasting, identify inventory risks and opportunities, and monitor channel receipts.
  • Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships, and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities.
  • Identify areas for improvement in allocation and replenishment processes, develop implementation plans, and oversee their execution.
Skills You Will Need

Analytical Aptitude: Strong analytical skills, including trend and pattern recognition, to drive data‑driven decision‑making. Proficient in utilizing rigorous analytics to derive actionable insights for inventory management decisions.

Strategic Planning: Capable of providing strategic direction during pre‑season planning and in‑season management to align with broader organizational goals.

Collaboration: Effective in collaborating with cross‑functional teams to gather inputs for demand forecasting and inventory optimization.

Communication: Strong ability to convey recommendations and insights to stakeholders through effective storytelling and presentations.

Problem‑Solving: Proficiency in identifying areas for improvement in allocation and replenishment processes and developing implementation plans.

Forecasting Expertise: Experience in demand forecasting to anticipate product needs and optimize inventory levels.

Optimization Techniques: Skilled in proactively maximizing inventory productivity across channels and locations through effective hold and flow strategies.

Risk Management: Ability to manage risk and identify opportunities while ensuring optimal service levels.

Independence: Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision, displaying self‑reliance and initiative.

Relationship Management: Proficient in managing relationships with key stakeholders to foster collaboration and alignment with organizational goals.

Who You Are
  • Candidates with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field are encouraged to apply. 4+ years of Financial or Inventory Management experience.
  • Regularly required to sit, talk, hear; use hands/fingers to touch, handle, and feel. Occasionally required to move about the workplace and reach with hands and arms. Requires close vision.
