Delaware Opportunities, Inc. is seeking a full-time Seasonal HEAP Clerk for our Hamden location.

Pay range to start at $17.80 per hour.

Start dates for this position are tentative at this time.

The ideal candidate must be hard working, reliable, and trustworthy.

• Greet HEAP clients and explain application process
• Register clients and perform computer inquiries as needed
• Transmit data and applications to DSS, register applicants
• Answer phones and perform general office work

• Data entry, organizational skills, ability to relate and work well with the public, familiarity with data sheets, integrity and ability to work independently
• Candidate must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent, with coursework in business math, bookkeeping, or keyboarding and/or two years’ experience in data entry or general office work
