VM Coordinator, New York CityThis position is based in New York City.
Traveling VM with 4 days in stores and 1 day in the office.
Reporting into Visual Merchandising Manager, US
ResponsibilitiesOversee the brand's visual identity and showcase the collections throughout the season.
Ensure the implementation of Sézane's merchandising policy and the proper application of guidelines in the New York City Appartements.
Guarantee the Offline brand image:
Maintain the highest standard of product presentation while respecting the Sézane DNA and commerciality of the US market (retail, marketing activations, influence activations …).
Provide customers an exciting and inspiring shopping experience.
Ensure the rotation of racks, mannequins and walls according to the assortment and sell through.
Validate and monitor VM installation schedules while ensuring proper staffing, in close collaboration with Store Directors.
Participate in major collection installations, window display changes, preparation for photo shoots or press/influencer/VIP events.
Organize your work according to the needs and priorities of Sézane’s broader global commercial calendar.
Collaboration with the Visual Merchandising Manager, US:
Co-develop zoning plans ahead of each collection launch, in accordance with VM guidelines and assortments, stock levels, and deliveries; ensuring deadlines are met.
Share qualitative photos while adhering to deadlines set by our global team.
Analyze store performance (reporting provided by retail merchandising) and propose action plans to the Visual Merchandising Manager, US.
Report to the central VM team on actions taken and escalate issues encountered in the field, and be a source of proposals for process improvements.
Potential out of state travel to assist in new store openings.
Raising awareness and training teams in VM:
Conduct visits to train in-store teams and share VM best practices communicated by VM Headquarters + support VM ambassadors in implementing corrective measures.
Monitor the competition in terms of visual identity, visual presentation techniques, and store layout of competitors in New York.
Qualifications- Experience in senior level management.
- 3+ years of multi store experience.
- Able to travel to local and at times out of state locations.
- Strong organizational and communication skills; detail oriented and able to meet deadlines in a ever changing environment.
- French speaking is a plus.
Salary range
: $70,000-$75,000, depending on skills and experience.
