Position SummaryA Shift Supervisor is a key leader supporting the CVS Store Management team in driving store execution and performance while building consumer loyalty to CVS/pharmacy through a focus on excellent customer service. When no manager or Operations Supervisor is onsite, the Shift Supervisor leads the store staff, ensures smooth operations, and is responsible for completing all opening and closing procedures.
Essential Functions- Management – Work effectively with store management and store crews.
- Supervise the store’s crew by assigning, directing and following up on all activities.
- Communicate information to and from store management and crews.
- Customer Service – Assist customers with questions, problems and complaints; promote the CVS customer‑service culture (greet, offer help, thank).
- Handle all customer‑relations issues in accordance with company policy, promoting a positive shopping experience.
- Maintain customer/patient confidentiality.
- Merchandise/Presentation – Price merchandise, stock shelves, execute displays, signs, inventory of weekly, promotional and seasonal merchandise, maintain off‑shelf merchandise, reset departments following POGs.
- Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills and computer skills.
- Advanced communication skills and supervision skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early morning, overnight, weekend shifts, overtime and urgent issues.
- Experience as a retail supervisor.
High School Diploma or Equivalent (Preferred but not required).

Pay RangeTypical pay range: $19.00 – $28.00 per hour. The actual base salary will depend on experience, education, geography, and other factors.
