Joining our entrepreneurial community of Drinks Specialists, this role provides customers with inspiring information about our spirit selection. We are looking for a customer-centric spirits connoisseur who is eager to continue their learning and leave their mark by sharing their passion with customers and team members alike. Rum, vodka, whisky, sake… it’s a tough job, but someone has to do it.

The SALARY: From $70,500 + superannuation

While we are advertising for a Full Time Salary opportunity, we are flexible, and open to considering Part Time Salary at applicant request.

The ROLE:

• Actively engage customers in an authentic way in store, sharing product knowledge and providing end to end service
• Work collaboratively with the store leadership team in setting up and facilitating customer events
• Advocate for My Dan’s loyalty by engaging with customers to understand benefits and product offerings
• Instil your love and passion for spirits into every interaction and use this to develop team member product knowledge
• Undertake a variety of instore tasks, including customer service and inventory tasks as well as duty management
• Contribute to store sales planning processes by sharing your specialist product knowledge and recommendations on product lines

The YOU:

• YOU have a real desire to create memorable customer moments and the ability to work across key customer hours
• YOU are proficient in the world of spirits and have a good understanding of wine and beer
• YOU have a thirst for knowledge and love to learn about new and emerging trends and categories
• YOU love to authentically impart your knowledge, inspiring customers and team to continue their adventure of discovery
• YOU have the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• YOU have experience in a drinks related role, including the spirits industry, bar work or liquor retail
