The E-Commerce Manager, Site Merchandising & Operations is responsible for the execution and optimization of the online customer experience across Giorgio Armani, Emporio Armani, EA7, and Armani Exchange. This role leads site merchandising, product publication, digital launches, omnichannel operations, website quality, and cross-functional coordination to support business growth, operational excellence, and luxury brand standards. Partnering closely with Global HQ, Merchandising, Retail, Operations, Technology, and Creative teams, the E-Commerce Manager ensures the successful delivery of digital initiatives and a seamless customer experience across all brands.
Key Responsibilities Site Merchandising & Digital Experience- Own daily site merchandising execution and end-to-end product publication across Giorgio Armani, Emporio Armani, EA7, and Armani Exchange
- Manage homepage, landing page, category page, and promotional content updates to support business priorities
- Execute product launches, seasonal deliveries, marketing activations, markdowns, outlet events, employee sales, and special projects
- Develop and maintain merchandising strategies that optimize product visibility, conversion, and customer engagement
- Manage site navigation, search optimization, product badging, category structures, and digital shelf presentation
- Partner with Global HQ to ensure local execution aligns with global brand standards and commercial goals
- Partner with Merchandising, Buying, Creative, and Global teams to maintain brand standards and data integrity
- Conduct ongoing audits to ensure consistency and accuracy across all customer-facing digital touchpoints
- Serve as the business lead for day-to-day ecommerce operational processes, ensuring seamless execution from order placement through fulfillment and delivery
- Partner with Distribution Center, Logistics, Customer Service, Retail Operations, and Global teams to maintain operational readiness and resolve customer-impacting issues
- Own packaging and fulfillment supply forecasting, leveraging sales trends, promotional calendars, and order volume projections to ensure adequate inventory of branded packaging, shipping materials, and seasonal collateral
- Track and analyze operational KPIs including fulfillment service levels, shipment delays, cancellations, return rates, customer service escalations, and inventory discrepancies
- Partner with Planning, Merchandising, and Logistics teams to support inventory availability, replenishment planning, and allocation strategies for key launches and promotional periods
- Coordinate operational readiness for major ecommerce initiatives, including seasonal launches, promotional events, employee sales, outlet activations, and peak holiday periods
- Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve the overall customer experience
- Develop and maintain operational documentation, workflows, and best practices to support business continuity and scalability
- Serve as the ecommerce lead for omnichannel initiatives, including Ship-from-Store, inventory visibility, returns processing, and fulfillment optimization
