Role summary:
As Senior Merchant, Women’s Digital Footwear, you’ll lead Women’s Athletics and Classic Brands and have the opportunity to shape what’s next for a highly visible, fast-moving business. You’ll bring together a love of product, strong merchant instincts and customer insights to build assortments customers are excited to discover. From growing relationships with leading brands to uncovering new opportunities, you’ll have the freedom to think big and turn ideas into action.

You’ll lead and develop a talented team, influence across the organization and play a meaningful role in the continued growth of Women’s Footwear at Walmart.

• Set the strategy for Women’s Athletics and Classic Brands, building assortments that balance customer needs, market trends and business opportunity.
• Own the digital business across sales, profit, inventory, pricing and promotional strategy.
• Build relationships with leading national brands, negotiate for Walmart customers and identify new brands and growth opportunities.
• Partner with Design and Product Development to create compelling, differentiated product.
• Use data, customer insights and merchant instincts to spot opportunities and make decisions.
• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team.
• Influence across Site Merchandising, Marketing, Planning and Supply Chain to bring the strategy to life.
