Cashier​/Uscan Attendant

Join our front end department and be part of welcoming our customers! In this role, you'll ensure items are entered accurately, maintain lines, and ensure NYS alcohol policies are enforced while assisting customers at the cash register. This role requires the ability to work nights and weekends.

-Maintains a consistent presence at at the self checkout areawhen not assisting customers.

-Invite customers to use self-checkout lanes or other registers to help prevent lines and offer prompt help.

-Resolve any needs or concerns of customersaccurately and with a sense of urgency.

-Assist customers with scanning large items in shopping carts.

-Maintain a clean, safe and sanitary working and shopping environment by adhering to Company safety procedures.

-Comply with all Company policies and procedures.

-Accountable for adhering to all local, state, and federal laws regarding sales of restricted items such as tobacco.

• Experience in a self scan customer service role preferred
• Accurately enter items at registers for customers
• Accountable for adhering to all local, state, and federal laws regarding sales of restricted items.
• Ability to multi-task and engage in a fast paced environment.
• Maintain a respectful, friendly, and approachable attitude towards customers and coworkers.
• Independently problem solve issues with registers. If the problem cannot be resolved, consult management staff for support.
