Budtender

Experienced Budtender Wanted for High-End Cannabis Dispensary. We are seeking a knowledgeable, passionate, and customer-focused Budtender to join our team  a leading cannabis dispensary, we are committed to providing our customers with top-quality products and exceptional service. As a Budtender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, educating customers about different cannabis products, and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences
• Provide expert recommendations on cannabis strains, products, and consumption methods
• Educate customers on the effects and benefits of various cannabis products
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, products, and regulations
• Ensure compliance with all state and local laws regarding cannabis sales
• Process transactions using POS system and handle cash responsibly
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment
• Assist with inventory management and product displays
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor and merchandise displays to enhance the customer shopping experience
• Assist with retrieving inventory and supplies from storage areas, including frequent movement between upstairs and downstairs work areas throughout the shift
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume retail environment while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and compliance standards
• Remain attentive and responsive to customer and team needs throughout the shift
• Assist with daily operational tasks that may require extended periods of standing, movement throughout the dispensary, and multitasking during busy peak hours

Requirements:

• Experience as a Budtender in a licensed cannabis dispensary
• Deep knowledge of cannabis strains, products, and consumption methods
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to build rapport with customers and provide a personalized experience
• Familiarity with cannabis industry regulations and compliance requirements
• Proficient with POS systems (preferably Dutchie) and cash handling
• Passion for cannabis and a desire to help others
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced customer service environment
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and compliance standards
• Ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without reasonable accommodation
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must be available to work weekends
