The Assistant Store Manager will support the Store Manager and Collectors Team with communication between the Irvine and Japan officesas well as planning for promotional programs for the Tamashii Store and oversee related functions and activities and administer company policies and procedures.

• Supports the Store Manager with communication between the Tamashii Nations Store and the Irvine and Japan Offices.
• Supportthedevelopment andexecutionof promotional programs tied to the store and events in the surrounding area.
• Mayhire and trainnew stafforassistmanagement with this process.
• Coordinates and oversees the day-to-day workflow of subordinate staffin the department.
• As requested by the Manager,conductsorassistswithtimelyand constructive performance evaluations.
• Assists the Manager with employment actions, including discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
• Monitors store performance,identifyingandfacilitatingopportunities to increase productivity and efficiency.
• Manages daily aspects of the department and its staff to ensure projects arecompletedand goals and customer needs are met.
• Collaborates with other managers to plan, direct, and coordinate programs and projects.
• Collaborates with other managers to analyze costs, benefits, and losses of company profits.
• Drafts,submits, and presents various performance and management reports.
• Manages inventory, approving orfacilitatingpurchases as needed; negotiates related pricing contracts and verifies costs and receipts.
• Responsible for physical inventory counts.
  
  Effectively communicate with the warehouse and accounting toresearchalldiscrepancies.
• Manages conflicts and resolves complaints about or within the department.
• Opens and closes the store, ensuring all operational procedures are followed.
• Conducts demand forecasting toanticipateinventory and staff needs.
• Oversees order and shipment control, ensuringtimelyandaccurateprocessing of merchandise.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Fluent English Speaker with ability to writeandread
  
  English.
• Fluent Japanese Speaker with ability to write and read Japanese (Preferred not required).
