Our client is a renowned payments industry consultancy providing respected expertise; helping clients solve problems, understanding opportunities and future proofing ideas.
In this capacity, they have been at the cutting edge of payments facilitating millions of transactions globally.
They consistently deliver payment solutions related to Strategy, technical advisory, software development and technical due diligence. They are on the hunt for a smart, inquisitive person to support business development activities within US payments, digital identity and privacy sectors. Working closely with a local team of consultants and Sales Director Americas, you will be involved in identifying, capturing and closing business.
Working closely with global marketing, you will fine tune and sell a range of off-the-shelf consultancy packages, targeted at the Fintech sector, small to medium sized transit operators and financial institutions.

Projects they are currently involved in include :
- EMV, open-banking, crypto-currencies, remote and alternative payment solutions
- Smart ticketing , Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) and Mobility-on-Demand (MoD) solutions
Deep knowledge of Payments or Fintech is not essential. However, we will expect you to rapidly gain a deep understanding of the business issues faced by clients. You’ll be comfortable representing our team through social media outreach and blog writing. You will become a confident writer in these areas and proficient at public speaking.
Strategy, technical advisory, software development and technical due diligence are just some of the key projects we have delivered across the USA to clients including American Express, Bank of America, Discover Financial Services, LCUC (Canada), Mastercard, Royal Bank of Canada, Worldpay and Visa.
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present documentation and influence decision making
- Understanding and ability to debate the changes taking place in retail payments, digital identity and/or privacy sectors would be valued
- Experience of using the Miller Heiman LAMP Process or similar to develop and manage robust account development plans
- Ability to work remotely and autonomously, with minimal administrative and operational support
- A home base on the East Coast of Canada or the USA
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
