Role overview

The Account Executive (Strategic/Global Accounts) is responsible for developing and managing Global Accounts and maximizing all sales opportunities within those accounts. The objective is to promote and sell KnowBe4 s products and services to achieve and exceed monthly quotas. This includes targeting your book of business, maximizing cross-sell opportunities, increasing subscription levels, and adding seats as accounts grow. The role collaborates with assigned customer account teams (e.g., Customer Success Manager) to drive ARR growth and broader product adoption, and coordinates any territory-specific deals for global accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell KnowBe4 s range of products and services.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of potential customers by developing and managing relationships with prospects.
  • Identify cross-sell, add-on, and upgrade opportunities within assigned accounts.
  • Develop relationships with key decision makers and articulate value to drive account growth.
  • Explain the value proposition of KnowBe4 s full product suite and how it improves security awareness training and overall security.
  • Achieve or exceed monthly quotas and targets.
  • Represent KnowBe4 at trade shows and follow up on marketing leads to generate opportunities.
  • Negotiate pricing in line with established policies; maintain thorough records of interactions per Administration Policy.
  • Support renewals where there is opportunity to grow the account.
  • Collaborate with Revenue teams to increase global account penetration and coordinate with Customer Success Managers and Renewal Specialists.
  • Travel to meet on-site with C-Levels and executives for assigned accounts.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor s Degree strongly preferred; cyber/security, CS, IT, business, marketing are pluses.
  • Proven track record selling to EVP/C-level (CISOs and security teams a plus).
  • 5+ years SaaS sales experience (cybersecurity preferred but not required).
  • Experience selling deals $100K-$200K in the Enterprise segment and multi-year deals.
  • International:
    English and local language proficiency.
  • Value-based and consultative selling experience with enterprise accounts; strong executive-level communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience with strategic account planning, multi-stakeholder deals, and CRM (preferably Salesforce).
  • Technical aptitude with familiarity in IT security concepts and security technology stack (e.g., IAM, SIEM, EDR, cloud security).
  • Self-motivated, growth-oriented, collaborative, and resilient with strong time management and organizational skills.
