Are you a high-performing sales professional ready to dominate the NYC market in the building automation space? We’re hiring a Business Development Manager to spearhead sales for commercial BMS (Building Management Systems) projects—new construction and retrofits.
This is a rare opportunity to join a fast-growing, independent controls contractor with strong technical capabilities, a solid reputation, and ambitious growth plans.
About the Role:
You’ll be responsible for:
- Driving new business across NYC’s commercial construction and real estate markets
- Targeting general contractors, MEP engineers, consultants, and building owners
- Managing the full sales cycle—from prospecting to close
- Collaborating with internal engineering and delivery teams to ensure technical alignment
- Representing the company at key industry events and networking opportunities
Who We’re Looking For:
- A proven sales hunter with 5+ years in BMS, HVAC controls, or smart building solutions
- Strong knowledge of commercial construction and building system integrations
- Well-connected in the NYC construction ecosystem
- A motivated self-starter who thrives on performance-based earnings
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
What We Offer:
- Competitive base salary: $150K–$200K (depending on experience)
- OTE $500K+ with uncapped commission
