This is an opportunity to join the Non-Traditional Revenue team as an Account Executive-New Business Development. Candidates must possess strong presentation and communication skills, experience working with advertising agencies and embrace selling all our digital and streaming platforms.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Achieve quarterly sales goals
- Develop and maintain strong relationship with media buyers and others at ad agencies
- Effectively research and cultivate new business clients
- Create, manage, & scale the revenue pipeline with advertisers, agencies & partners
- Develop sales tools to effectively present and position the television station's during the sales process
- Collaborate and relationship-build across various internal departments including sales, marketing, traffic, finance as well as external (3rd party) vendors.
- Communicate well with station management.
- Provide solid forecast information on account list
- Handle all paperwork in a timely matter
- Embrace the CTS-Corporate pillars of Content, Culture, & Community
- Media sales experience working internally or with another broadcast organization or advertising agency.
- Ability to simplify complex concepts & define value propositions on behalf of CTS
- Highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Wide Orbit
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

- 5 years of ad sales experience, ad sales planning experience or TV buying experience/media planning at any agency preferred.
- A strong desire to win and grow as a digital ad sales professional and thrive in a team environment.
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Strong written communication and ability to think creatively
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced sales environment.
- Proven experience working with Free Wheel, Salesforce, operative and/or Wide Orbit

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
This position is eligible to earn sales incentive compensation.
