We are currently seeking a Speciality Seller II to join our team in New York, New York (US-NY), United States (US).
The Business Development Executive is a passionate, results-oriented leader with an unwavering drive for the hunt. Focused on the data and analytics space, the BDE excel at uncovering high-value opportunities, breaking into new markets, and securing transformative client engagements. What you will do:- Responsible for driving growth and revenue through strategic business development initiatives.
- Leverage your expertise in data consulting services to understand client needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Own the end-to-end sales process, collaborating with delivery teams to establish and surpass revenue targets through strategic pursuit of prospects and existing clients, employing a value-based solution selling approach.
- Maintain and nurture ongoing relationships with client stakeholders through status calls and other non-sales touchpoints.
- Build strong relationships with qualified leads through networking and external interactions.
- Expand market presence and revenue within existing accounts by identifying additional lines of business and selling larger strategic projects.
- Demonstrate expertise in Data, Analytics and AI areas of focus and gather client information to identify areas requiring support.
- Ensure accurate maintenance within CRM system as the central repository for all sales-related information.
- Meet assigned revenue quotas through professional selling techniques, managing deal volume with average deal sizes of $500K +.
- Foster a positive and motivating work environment with a growth-oriented, entrepreneurial mindset.
- Manage multiple opportunities simultaneously, coordinating internal resources and stakeholders across various sales stages.
- 7+ year’s experience in a business development focused role, or an equivalent client-facing role within a professional services environment.
- 5+ years managing the sales process through qualification, needs analysis, presentation, proposal, negotiation, and close.
- 5+ years of solid understanding of business development, deal strategy, and contract negotiation.
- 3+ years success in selling data consulting services.
- 3+ years of experience selling to Financial Services/Banking clients.
- Ability to travel at least 25%.
- Proficient in Miller Heiman account management processes, with practical experience.
- Familiarity with Agile project delivery methods.
- Knowledgeable in Analytics, Data Management, and Data Strategy concepts.
- Demonstrates exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Possesses strong networking skills and comprehensive industry/market knowledge.
- Exhibits strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
