Position OverviewAs a Sales Development Representative at Thrive Cart, you'll be on the front lines of building our affiliate community and driving new platform sign-ups. This is a hybrid role requiring hunter instincts to prospect new leads (via email and DMs) and farmer skills to nurture and activate affiliates who have already joined but need guidance to start promoting effectively. You'll work closely with our Head of Partnerships, lead generation specialist, and marketing team to ensure that every lead — inbound or outbound — is engaged, qualified, and motivated to promote Thrive Cart.
Key Responsibilities- Hunting (Prospecting & Outreach)
- Proactively identify and research new potential affiliates, creators, and agency partners through email, social DMs, and community outreach.
- Manage outbound campaigns, including crafting personalized outreach sequences and following up consistently.
- Work leads generated by our lead gen specialist and convert them into active sign-ups.
- Farming (Activation & Nurturing)
- Onboard new affiliates and ensure they understand Thrive Cart's value proposition, affiliate program, and promotional resources.
- Provide ongoing communication, encouragement, and support to affiliates to help them take meaningful action (posting content, running campaigns, sending emails to their audiences).
- Track and monitor affiliate engagement, ensuring affiliates are actively promoting Thrive Cart and optimizing their campaigns.
- Build relationships with affiliates to maximize retention, engagement, and revenue growth.
- Pipeline & Performance
- Maintain a strong pipeline of prospects and active affiliates using CRM tools.
- Hit and exceed weekly/monthly KPIs around outreach volume, sign-ups, activations, and affiliate-driven sales.
- Collaborate with the partnerships and marketing teams to share feedback and insights from the field.
- Proven SDR/BDR experience (1–3 years), ideally in SaaS, affiliate, or creator economy companies.
- A self-starter who can prospect independently and creatively through email, Linked In, Instagram, Tik Tok, and other channels.
- Strong ability to nurture relationships and "farm" affiliates into active promoters.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a knack for persuasion and storytelling.
- Organized and metrics-driven, with comfort using CRM tools, outreach platforms, and tracking dashboards.
- Experience with affiliate programs, creator partnerships, or influencer marketing is a big plus.
