About the Role

We’re building out our Go‑To‑Market team, and we’re looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join us. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for prospective customers, playing a key role in fueling PERSUIT’s growth. You’ll partner closely with our Sales and Marketing teams to identify, engage, and qualify new business opportunities.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is curious, driven, and eager to grow within a high‑performing sales organization. This role is based in our New York City office and requires a minimum of three (3) days per week onsite as part of our hybrid schedule.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Prospect outbound with potential clients via phone and other channels to generate interest in PERSUIT.
  • Drive outbound contact to book meetings with target personas.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to generate and schedule meetings.
  • Research target accounts and hyper‑personalize outreach to key decision‑makers.
  • Maintain accurate records of outreach and follow‑up in our CRM.
  • Continuously learn about PERSUIT’s product, market trends, and customer needs to refine messaging.

Base salary for NYC applicants – $65,000.

Requirements
  • 1–2 years of experience in a BDR, SDR, or similar customer‑facing role, preferably in B2B SaaS.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly driven, self‑starter attitude with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfort working in a fast‑paced environment with evolving priorities.
  • A collaborative mindset and a willingness to learn and grow with the team.
Bonus Points if you have
  • Experience using tools like Hub Spot, Linked In Sales Navigator, video, phone cadencing.
  • A background in legal or legal tech.
  • Prior experience selling into legal, procurement, or professional services teams.
  • A track record of exceeding targets in a previous role.
